replace comfort with fear

When was the last time you did something that made you fearful?

When was the last time you stepped out of the lines of your carefully drawn comfort zone for the sake of experiencing something great?

I am not trying to preach at anyone, because God knows that I am the least experienced in this field. But recently I have discovered the beauty and the growth that comes along with changing your surroundings and going into something that is completely out of your normal routine.

When we become mechanical in our day to day lives we lose a sense of urgency that is strengthened by the presence of the unfamiliar. By stripping down our habitual actions we will begin to build upon the opportune opportunities that Christ has set before us.

When God broke Moses free from his mundane, unauthentic way of life he was able to enter into a life full of influential, momentous living that eventually helped set free a whole country of people.
What would have happened if Moses decided to stay exactly where he was in his 'comfortable' life instead of stepping into the fearful, somewhat intimidating, life that brought great change?

Sometimes, God uses the tough and unnerving moments in our life to make us depend and lean on Him. Although these times can be full of unpredictability, Christ never fails to meet us in our darkest days of fear.
