“She lived, we'll say, a harmless life, she called a virtuous life, a quiet life, which was not life at all (But that she had not lived enough to know).”-Aurora Leigh, Elizabeth Barrett Browning
2014.
A year that brings many, many changes within its barrier.
New locations. New people. New explorations.
As my family and myself journey to a strange new land, I am constantly reminded by the opportunities that surround this magnificent journey. As I say goodbye to old, lovely, familiar faces I say hello to the beautiful unknown.
2014: what do you have in store?
With the unknown before me I see the necessity, once more, for becoming into the person --- the disciple --- Christ made me to be.
"Mold me, teach me, lead me into this new year, Lord."
2014's goals:
1. be Christ's love to everyone
2. step beyond my comfort zone to experience the fullest life the Lord has set out for me
3. read more
4. broaden my horizons (literally)
5. trust
6. be thankful and content in everything
7. dance --- frequently
8. invest more in the people around me and not so close
9. seek the Lord, daily
10. live
